Sunčica Zurković

Born in Montenegro, raised in Ulcinj, and later in Serbia, my story begins with many cultural diversities. Taking pictures has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would routinely steal my mother’s DSLR to shoot nature and bugs. I became even more interested in photography in high school after my first trip to Paris when I recorded about 2,000 shots of documentary photography. It was my first sign that photography was something I enjoyed. At the end of high school, I attended a documentary photography course where I began to get more into photography’s technical aspects. In the meantime, I got my first DSLR camera for my eighteenth birthday when my most significant journey begins, which continues to this day. In photography, I am predominantly guided by intuition and an inner sense of beauty. I am inspired by people and their life stories, as well as fashion itself. For that reason, I like to do portrait photography the most and record stories that remain eternal when I record them with the camera. This year I finished my Master’s studies in architecture at the Faculty of Belgrade.
